I had low expectations for The Acolyte on Disney+, but it managed to fall short of even that after the first two episodes. It seems the executives thought that merely including multiple races and genders would elevate the show, but it didn't. The character development was shallow, and the acting was atrocious. Who gave the green light to this travesty? Shame on you for tarnishing the Star Wars legacy. Right from the first scene, the lack of basic logic was glaring—why didn't anyone think to check a camera or security footage to confirm she was on the ship? And the fire in space was downright comical.
I hope they do something amazing to turn it around for the rest of the season, but as of now, it's a huge letdown.
