I had low expectations for The Acolyte on Disney+, but it managed to fall short of even that after the first two episodes. It seems the executives thought that merely including multiple races and genders would elevate the show, but it didn't. The character development was shallow, and the acting was atrocious. Who gave the green light to this travesty? Shame on you for tarnishing the Star Wars legacy. Right from the first scene, the lack of basic logic was glaring—why didn't anyone think to check a camera or security footage to confirm she was on the ship? And the fire in space was downright comical. I hope they do something amazing to turn it around for the rest of the season, but as of now, it's a huge letdown.

I never read the stories, but I will say that I enjoyed the show the most part. Expect when the vortex came into play. The fiction behind it was hard to swallow. Then again, the entire show was similar to an acid trip. Still, had they hired me as a writer, I could have made it better.

What are reviews? I mean 96% on rotten tomatoes almost half of the reviews on google are 1 star…yet I find myself compelled to write a review as this show is one of marvel’s worst. I don’t understand what is going on in the studios nowadays. Stretching for attention to demonstrate inclusivity, yet missing the entire purpose of what captivates the audience. We unfortunately live in an intolerant and racist world and as a middle eastern first generation, I have nothing good to say about this show. Go back to what made marvel great and stop trying to recreate the wheel.

I can’t begin to describe how disappointing it felt after watching the first two parts. Acting is so bad. Writing is even worse. Terrible CGI. I’m done. Edit. I thought the third part might come to the rescue. What was I thinking. Edit: add the forth part to the disaster of a show.
