I have had tears watching all the stories.. how nicely done!!

This is one of the most horrible movie I have ever seen!! I kept on watching it to see how bad it can get. Shirish Kunder is such a witty guy otherwise. The only decent thing is this movie was Mohit Raina.

Thappad: If you’ve seen the trailer then you already know what is it about. You may feel that it’s not your story. You may feel that it doesn’t happen to people around you. You may feel that you’ll never be part of such normalized patriarchy or normalized submission.. but.. ! Only when you watch it, you sleep over it you know that all of us are equal contributors. It wakes you up from that slumber.. it wakes you up from that delusion. Every mother, every father, every man, every woman should watch it. #thappad

#chhapaak hits and burns and creates havoc inside you. Human bestiality or human strength.. Teary sad lump or teary happy lump.. Chhapaak would stay in your mind.. it will penetrate you but you would still not internalize the pain survivors go through. What kind of mindset makes you this gruesome... and what kind of mindset gives one the courage to fight silently without being revengeful… Stories like these should be told. Stories likes these must be shown. To the ones who have boycotted it, it was never meant for you!! People like Laxmi agarwal, Alok Dixit, Ritu, Kunti, Gaui, Reshma and all others must be told. Deepika is Laxmi personified. So so so brilliant. Vikrant Massey is all love!! Meghna deserves all the accolades. But whoever thought of “chhapaak as the title deserves all the adulation. Never has been a movie this aptly titled.
