This movie was well done. The set design, story line, and acting was superlative. The story is amazing. It shows how much we take for granted the knowledge and technology we enjoy today and the beginnings of all that we have. The journey to the Oxford Dictionary that we know today is simply awe-inspiring. This film shows that words have meaning and power and to take our language for granted is a travesty. The other aspect of the film is how far we as a society have come in the recognition and treatment of mental illness and trauma over the past 175 years. The example of the psychological traumas of combat of what we now know as post traumatic stress disorder and the effects of PTSD is well presented in this film.
