Wow, reading reviews by men who complain this isn't a realistic portrait of *some* high school boys, as well as their distain for feminism, really makes me wonder what kind of men they are. I think this speaks more about the reviewers than the movie. Not all the males in the movie are portrayed as narcissistic harassers, quite the contrary. I found the movie very well done as both entertainment & food for thought about what's it's like for girls to have to navigate the minefields of high school.
