Disappointing. Spielberg and Hanks dropped the ball on the third go. Just another Hollywood WW2 series with little sustenance, riddled with historical inaccuracies. Difficult at times to understand what the series is attempting to depict, it has little direction, absolutely zero depth. To a historian, it is very disappointing to see a modern production slander American allies to such a point to depict them as feckless, cowardly and pretentious. These were real, brave young men, that do not deserve to have their sacrifice ridiculed by a bunch of Hollywood writers. Despite this air scenes were good, everything on the ground was dreadful.
