I love sci-fi movies. In fact, I even enjoy bad sci-fi movies if they’re weird enough. This one was bad, and weird, and yet it was one of the most boring movies I’ve watched. They constantly use a low, drawn-out drone sound in the background, as if something is going to happen or be revealed, but the only thing that ever gets revealed is how annoyingly thoughtless the characters and story are. The whole time, everyone is wondering “Whoaah, what are these doors?” without any form of critical thinking (apart from a brief moment at the end), and the whole setup of the plot is explained like 5 times to the audience. That just shows poor writing, that the writers couldn’t think of anything more interesting to tell the audience apart from the premise itself.
