The writing is pretty good. They do well at presenting a very down to earth gritty yet hopeful world that has moral dilemma's with ambiguous answers as to what is the more righteous response. (That is one of the Games strongest points of writing that this show does a decent job at). Pacing is well done. intrigue is definitely there. But really for me what captivates me about this show is the character acting and portrayal. Mostly in the performance of the main character "Geralt of Rivia" played by Henery Cavill. It felt like he really thew himself into this role, and it pays off. Amazing performances all around, it really has me hooked and eager more!
