This book is wonderful. I'm a biracial woman who has done a lot of reflecting over the last few years of my own racial biases. This book not only reiterated and provided guidance on how to continue growing from the white perspective, it provides reassurance and understanding of the experience for people of color. I truly felt seen reading this book, which has become required reading in my household.
It is unsurprising to me that the only negative reviews about this book are by white people. It is extremely difficult to look inward and tackle your innate flaws, but if you can read this book open to self-growth, you will get so much out of it.
