The comment made by Don Cherry “you people” although one can assume who he is referring to is still not specific to race or colour and I agree should not have been made. Jess Allen in her derogatory comments is very specific and refers to white boys their families and their fans. If she and CTV feel that Don Cherry must be fired then why is she being held to a lower standard. Is CTV saying that it is OK to discriminate against white people. Also ET Canada, you say that you could see that Jess Allen’s rant was personal and emotional. We’re you not able to see/hear that Don Cherry was emotional about his support for our veterans, not some personal vendetta rant directed towards some hockey players from Jess Allen’s past as she has now narrowed her scope of venom.
