Ok, so Alden Ehrenreich isn't Han as we know him but then nobody could ever outshine Harrison Ford's iconic loveable rogue. Solo - A Star Wars Story pushes all the buttons for lifelong Star Wars fans like me, far more so than Epiodes 1 - 3 did, whilst not relying on your knowledge of the franchise to make it watchable for a new audience. While it relies heavily on CGI, as most movies do these days, you're not left with the feeling that they just added a scene so they could show off what their VFX computer could do. A great action movie with plenty of chuckles and all the elements you want from Star Wars. A potential new classic.
