If you are expecting this show to follow the Book hook, line & sinker. DONT WATCH IT! I just recently reread the books, & I think the rendition is very good. Excellent cast, super special effects that hold up under 4k, & a complex storyline, that even though it is very loosely based on the books, it does it justice..... mostly because the Actors DELIVER in Spades.... They all bought into this, & it shows, so we should buy in as well I think Isaac would have liked this, but watch it for yourself & you be the judge, I think you will find it very worthwhile, but ya gotta give it an episode or 2 or 3, if ya dont buy in, its wasnt meant for you in the 1st place. .

Im 64 years old....... when you get old its important that we let you know how old we are for we now have less time left then we have lived. . I waited a long time for John Carter of Mars to be made into a movie........ 50 years. You know how disappointed I was? Yet, I still enjoy it, defend it, watch it over and over whenever it is on.... Im not going to wax poetically about the CGI, the cyberpunk genre, Salazar, she is awesome by the way, the plot, anime, or anything like that.... Alita Battle Angel, is what my John Carter of Mars should have been.... Dont listen to the critics Mr Cameron, listen to the FANS who love this movie.. You created something beautiful..... let it flow....... follow the dream..... and maybe, just maybe, Carson Napier of Venus or Pellucidar might catch your fancy some day.... I can only dream..... and oh yeah, spend the money People, & go see this fine lil flick, its a wonderful ride.
