This version makes David Lynch’s film Dune look like a masterpiece. This version of Dune is a perfect example of the end of the greatness of Hollywood no longer a realm of artists but a business Run by accountants. It certainly has alot of great artists in it like Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa and young Chalemet but it has zero soul. It is as vapid as the artless Corporate techno landscape we now inhabit in the End of Empire. Alot of tech scenery with unimaginative costumes and the worse script! But then Again Bladerunner 2049 was a hideous disaster as well for the same reasons-( the original 1982 version being PERFECTION on every level. ) This generation does not read , has no Imagination or emotional depth and will be glamoured by all these techy visuals so they will probably like it . I couldn't even finish it ,it made me so sad that one of my favorite books is being brought to another generation in such a vapid and souless unenlightened manner. With a cartoon script , artless costume design and teen age dialog and the entire budget spent on tech scenery. Another example of all the money in the world and a director as cold as ice.Frank Capra hes not.
