When a movie starts with a jovial character being inspired by a quotation on love and falls in love hopelessly with someone who's very practical about love, and life in general, it promises that pain will follow. However, the story misses opportunities to bring that same pain out while keeping things practical for most parts of the movie. Eventually, the moment of pain is served on an unconvincing and impractical situation. Could have been much better. Only serviceable if not disappointing for now.
