Being a die hard fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, it's quite disappointing to watch this final piece of the series.
Of course, I had goosebumps when Ellie Sattler met Alan Grant, and teamed up with Ian Malcolm. But that's it. The storyline is poorly constructed, with almost zero logic!
For example, when Kayla was flying the plane, the pterosaur conveniently destroyed the engines(smart bird!).
Or like when the 90s era met with the 21st century, along with the iconic dialogue, "Don't move", everyone ended up playing hide and seek with the the Giganotosaurus. I mean, how immature that looks? They are walking round and round, and the dinosaur looks at them calmly?? And then Malcolm hurt it with a fiery spear made with burning locust, which hurled fire as if it was doused in gas? Really, dude?
One more incident, judging by the containment and the size of locusts in there, there were hardly about 500 locusts in biosyn. After bursting out, they duplicated massively to 2-5k in size. Later they increase exponentially, if you consider the amount of land destroyed by burning locusts. Damn! And Bryce had the same expression throughout the movie. And why does all Jurassic World movies portray the T-Rex as the one cliché hero? "The T-Rex falls on ground, the audience gasps, as they see it lying defeated. Ohh no! wait for it...tada! T-Rex gets up(never backs down), grabs its prey and baamm!!! And then comes the roarrrrrr.. ". And Henry Wu had that constipated face throughout the movie until the very end. It almost felt like they were in a hurry to end it all.
Overall, a decent action movie, with lots of actors put up unnecessarily.
Disappointed.
