Hands down one of the worst horror movies I’ve ever seen. I saw this movie for the first time a few days ago. I had heard good things about the movie so I expected it to be pretty good. I went into the movie theater excited to see a supposedly good horror movie; I exited saying to myself, “What the hell did I just watch?” While the concept of the movie is unique, it makes for an utterly terrible movie. The concept of having sex with someone in some weird game of tag in order to escape some kind of sex ghoul then dying if you have sex with the ghoul is possibly one of the worst concepts I’ve ever seen for a horror movie. Just because a concept is unique does NOT mean whatsoever that it is a good concept. To all those who say that the people like me, who are giving this movie scathing reviews, don’t understand the concept of the movie, you couldn’t be more wrong. I understand perfectly that the concept is showing the dangers of STDs and showing it as a real threat to young people, but as a horror movie it plays out terribly. I’d rather watch one of those documentaries about STDs that they show Sex Ed students in school than sit through this movie again; at-least then it would be somewhat educational. I grew up watching the cold hard classics of horror, such as: Silence of the Lambs, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Psycho, The Shining, and The Hills Have Eyes; and to be presented with this absolute trash heap of a movie really showed me what an absolute waste of time the movie was.
