Entertaining throughout but the realities of actual survival are mostly glossed over and often ignored. Clothes dry in cold wet conditions and the protagonists don’t eat for 2.5-3 days without mentioning it or getting grumpy. Action scenes are excellent and the acting is mostly great. However I stopped being engaged to the 4/5 star level after Hopkins and Baldwin walk away from the bear kill in bear-skin jackets that quite clearly have seams, are perfectly clean etc, and that all this work was done with 1 4” utility knife. This is worth watching but if you’re observant you may have to further suspend your disbelief for this one.
