I watched season one and am half way through season two. I find this show to be decent. It’s definitely a dexter want to be. The main character has been taught a Co͏de by his pseudo father. He try’s to only kill bad people. His character narrates the show, just like Dexter.
But what is missing here is the suspense of a well written show like dexter. As well as the believability of Dexter.
Are we to believe that a cop would stop a white male in LA for J-walking in front of his own apartment complex at 4am? And then snatch a trash bag out of his hand, search it and then take a set of head phones ? All while not paying any attention to the blood soaked rags or rumba that are in that bag?
Then later this cop makes a hug jump to connect the head phones to a murder.
This is the problem with today’s writers. No one critically thinks the plot through. I see this show becoming stale and predictable by the end of season two.
