This show is all over the place. It can’t make up its mind if it wants to be a survivor a cooking contest a grocery store shopping cooking show or what it wants to be. First you think it’s going to be a competition between up-and-coming chefs and well known chefs. A competition based on their skills. But then it degrades into some kind of team competition. Then it further denigrated to a convenient store cooking contest .And then it ends up being like a survivor where they vote people off . I think this show would have been better had it chosen one path and stuck to that path. Now granted this might be how they do things in Korea, but I just thought the show lacked a focus and direction.

The outsider is a detective/ thriller series on hbo that started out well but quickly moved into the ridiculous as soon as the token Autistic genius P.I. came on to the scene. The show tries to be suspenseful and riveting but falls flat. The actors do a good job off trying to put makeup on a pig. But the premise off the show revealed itself too quickly. It was better before you knew there was a demon in the mix.

I watched season one and am half way through season two. I find this show to be decent. It’s definitely a dexter want to be. The main character has been taught a Co͏de by his pseudo father. He try’s to only kill bad people. His character narrates the show, just like Dexter. But what is missing here is the suspense of a well written show like dexter. As well as the believability of Dexter. Are we to believe that a cop would stop a white male in LA for J-walking in front of his own apartment complex at 4am? And then snatch a trash bag out of his hand, search it and then take a set of head phones ? All while not paying any attention to the blood soaked rags or rumba that are in that bag? Then later this cop makes a hug jump to connect the head phones to a murder. This is the problem with today’s writers. No one critically thinks the plot through. I see this show becoming stale and predictable by the end of season two.

I could see this show falling apart around the 8th episode of the First season. The show started off strong but quickly became predictable. Bad guy tricks Delta force trained Master sergeant into trap. Ties him up, lies to his team, then gets away. Nothing Is mentioned about the fact that the timeline just changes every time this delta force lead team fails their mission. ( except for the time Amy ceased to exist.) This show had so many opportunities to be more then just another hokey show.

Doctor Oz needs to quit acting like some kind of criminal investigator. He has lost my respect by constantly airing these shows where his guest accuse people of murder. Everything his guest present as evidence is speculation and hear say. Dr. Oz has given into Hollywood pressures to bring in more ratings by sinking to the level of the Maury Povich show. Soon he will have people fighting on his show over the results of a paternity test.
