I wanted to like this movie so bad. The visuals are amazing, there’s talent behind it. But the story and dialogue is rushed and lazy. It’s flat and predictable, and the characters are one dimensional. It’s almost as if the writers and directors put little to no effort. This movie feels like it was written in a Facebook comment section and it’s almost cringing at times. Especially the ending (Spoiler alert) where all the characters sacrifice themselves in an attempt to try to have a fakeout. The actors tried, the animators tried, but in the end this movie was crapped out by Disney’s soulless movie machine trying to do anything to grab for money and keep themselves from getting canceled for their past.
