B. O'Sullivan

I can't believe anyone thinks this is a good album. It's not because it's pop, it's not because it doesn't sound like old Coldplay, it's because the music is bad. The hooks are lazy, the songs are basic, and most of all nothing on this album stands out in any way (except Coloratura). Coldplays best work manages to hit a balance between accessible and poppy music while standing out as uniquely Coldplay. If you were to replace Chris Martins voice with literally any other pop vocalist you wouldn't be able to tell who's song this is. Despite the bands best efforts to make a conceptual, space themed album, there is nothing that makes this music anything other than boring industry pop.
