Just watched Madame Webb. This movie was a waste of time, money. Dakota Johnson, her acting is not good. I would rather watch Jennifer Lopez…she can act…. The story was dragged along with no depth, waiting until the ultimate end to have some kind of superhero breakthrough? Whoever made this movie should be slapped. Whoever gave the starring roles to Dakota Johnson and the spider guy in the black suit, should be slapped. I’m sure this would’ve been a good movie if it was in the hands of others that have more experience with this type of genre. It was shallow, so much so..I fast forwarded through to lessen the pain. The supporting cast was great…..if they decide to continue with this …please get a writer, director, main actress that will do it justice…could have been one of the good ones. Fail.

Just seen Dune part two, it is epic! I was hoping that this movie would, as a whole, encompass that great sci-fi feel from the original Dune. Which I love! I have watched the Original Dune so many times, I’ve lost count. The action, the story, it is just great! The depth of characters, history, action, heart….wow. I would have changed one line spoken by his mother….other than this…can’t wait for the next installment…Hope it carries through with same cast, director, etc…keep what obviously works!!!

Making this a bad musical is a shame. The original movie and book are deep. No character development, rushing through just to get to the next song and dance…which were too much, too many, too long and took away from the heart of this story of strength, faith, perseverance. The only two casting that were good, is Sophia and Harpo…yet, Sophia’s spirit was not shining as it could have. Love TP Henson…just not for this role…think Thandie Newton would have brought the longing love and soul of Shug. Whoever decided this moving story and awesome movie should have been redone should be slapped into reality and be ashamed of themselves for thinking they had this bright idea they could do better…just about making a mockery of the hardship that was endured and diminishing the breakthroughs that were had…all they did was a dollar sellout, please don’t dull an already set masterpiece.
