This is a very well-written and well-researched book, although there is not much in here we don't already know. Andrea Bernstein shows how the Trump and Kushner families accumulated great wealth using bankers, lawyers and campaign contributions to bend established norms. They are huge risk takers who used our democratic systems to their own advantage. Their positions in leadership, including the Trump presidency, should be setting off alarm bells for all Americans who believe in the principles of our country. We are in perilous times and everyone should pay attention that we do not repeat the mistakes that have brought us to this moment.
