It retroactively ruined the original 1980s series by claiming that the ghosts from the show were all high-altitude illusions and that Vincent never had any actual powers. It's not supernatural at all and that was one of the big draws as a kid. It truly was a precursor to Zombie Island and the Witch's Ghost.
