I’d give a 3.5 if half ratings were available. I don’t want to sound too negative, but honestly found it a bit lackluster. It wasn’t bad - Ishiguro is a Nobel Prize winner for a reason - but the climax was meh and the rest of it was also somewhat meh. I was able to skim or skip several paragraphs at a time and not lose track of the action at all.
