Just a bad copy of concepts from superior movies like ‘Missing’ and ‘Searching’, the story is lacks cohesiveness, the thrill is not thrilling and the acting is chessy and fake. The ending is weak and cowardly is no pay off. 1/5

Is this the best Kdrama of all time? For me personally, absolutely yes! Everything about this show, the raw slice-of-life feel, the family dynamic, the diverse characters is absolutely beautiful. You can't help but fall in love with each and every character of this show (and there are many). You are never too late to watch Reply 1988. It will find you when you need it the most. I honestly don't know what to do with myself after finishing this show!

This drama has to be one of the most beautiful kdramas I have ever seen and I have seen my fair share of kdramas. It is so exquisitely unique, not just in terms of the story, but the setting, the atmosphere and the cinematography. Let me warn you, if you expect some cheesy fast paced drama with you standard cliche hero and heroine and cheesy dialogues, then you will be disappointed. This show is like a classic book, with layered characters and a strong heroine. If I could give it more stars, I would. Definitely recommended 10/10

I think this drama is extremely and criminally underrated. I absolutely loved the feel of this drama. The delicate story telling, the layered characters and the engaging environment of the drama makes it a must watch! I finished the drama in one night. There are truly not enough words to describe this drama.
