I was an extra in the movie and had the honor and privilege of talking with Mr. FREEMAN, every day for 6 days, in Durham N. C.In fact, he was especially kind and nice to me, in a direct compliment to me, and also, since my ex-wife is from Mississippi, he asked me to bring her in so he could meet her, which I did. As I was visiting the restroom in the Trailer lot, somehow, he heard she was standing in the lot, and when I returned, he was standing outside in the lot talking to her! That's the kind of Brother he is! As for the film, I almost had an opportunity to do a special scene, that was, unfortunately for me, cut out. As for the film itself, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and had the pleasure of watching a Master at work! I played a uniform police officer, as he examined one of the murder scenes in the woods. When I was first brought to the set scene, he thought I was a Real police officer, and said so very directly, as he walked down the pathway to meet me! I was quite naturally blown away! Whoa, Morgan Freeman, coming to me! He also intimated to me, after I saw him twirling a cap pistol in the set precinct headquarters, that, he loved westerns, and desired to do a Western about a Black Sheriff, named BASS REEVES!
