Why in the world did this get low stars!?!? Seriously!? Now I figured there would be social media stuff in it and I even liked there use of it. This was a perfect remake. Not cheesy . The cast is perfect. You can equally love the old one. Trust me born in 85 here Lohan was our pre-teen everything I am in love with this movie. And guess what the messages in this movie is needed more then ever. Teens are in trouble.. especially the girls

Underestimated masterpiece of a film. It is just perfect. Never tire of it... everyone plays their roles perfectly makes me want to live in a small town in Alaska too

I still watch this at almost 40.. no I don't care how cheesy it is. Best book series of all time.i hear there's a movie coming... I should be apart of it lol. I will be first in line to see it

A movie/story almost no one in recent generations can handle. They are in a tiny comfy bubble. I grew up sex%%%'abused.. raped.. assaulted..you name it. What I did do was taken them all down. Except the first one (I was an infant until I was almost 7). Mind this was the 80s and 90s. I can see the cowards that call themselves 'men' But this story still happens today . All over the world. Some patriarchy eh? Wonderfully done remake

My one day off during my ENTIRE pregnancy in 2006 I watched this entire movie on one VHS. It has been a part of my life since. I say quotes in my head and the characters voices every day.. I watch it while I have a cleaning day (it's now on Freevee.. but freevee repeats scenes) I have the dvds somewhere. Watching it right now. The other day my daughter turned 16 I'm shocked I didn't put Virginia in her name. She called me from her room on the phone 🙄 said in Bo Peeps voice " it's my 16th birthday today.. betcha can't guess what's happening to meeee tonight" That was awesome! Her middle name is Anne after the other best mini series on the planet .. Virginia Anne does have a nice ring to it. Anyways I think everyone should watch it yearly at least. I also still think they needed to make a second one
