The best musical ever made imo,hepburn is mesmerising as elizah,the sets,costumes and production have never and will never be bettered,the soundtrack is magical and the performances all round are superb,and a very special mention for 'Stan hollaway' who plays 'Alfie doolittle' who apart from hepburn steals the movie in every scene he is in with the most wonderful deep sounding speaking cockney voice ever heard on screen and with brilliant dialogue and long monologues to match he is an absolute delight to watch and listen too whether he is speaking or singing, My favourite line of the whole movie is when holloway(alfie) is asked "do you have any morals man" To which Alfie replys, "Naa,can efford em gaverna".

Rob Roy is much better than 'Braveheart' but the movie sadly got lost in all the 'braveheart' hysteria,it has a stellar cast with outstanding performances from all the leads 'Jessica lange' 'Liam neeson' 'John hurt' and best of all 'Tim roth' who plays the dastardly conniving and deliciously disgusting 'Archibald' who handles a sword better even than Rob roy himself,the story is fascinating and gritty throughout and it never dulls,it also has one of the most exciting sword fights ever placed on screen and it's all wrapped up in breathtaking scenery and a utterly gorgeous score.

The film has zero character development,even john wick we know and learn literally nothing about,all we know is he's a retired super assasin who comes out off retirement because someone steals his car and kills his dog and has just lost his wife,the action is extremely fast furious and violent and reeves is admittedly stunning to watch in his movements,I've rarely seen better more stylish gun fights and unarmed combat than in john wick

The battle scenes are outstanding with tazer fire almost reminiscent of star wars lazer guns which look incredible but whether realistic only real soldiers of war will know,extremely bloody also which is no doubt realistic,not much of a story here though,just men of War some crazy as others and all battle weary except the new recruit and that's the whole story really,from there on just one battle after another until the ultimate one at the end,lacks tension but not a bad movie,definitely worth a watch
