The film was going for a critique of the genre tropes and the modern life, but it failed to deliver either comedy or horror or a new perspective. Reading a philosophy paper would have been a more fun and educating experience than sitting through this move. I'm sad to have wasted a glass of good wine washing down this nightmare.
