Punyo Milo

This book was really very hard to get into.I really feel one has to have some basic knowledge about ships and changing to fully grasp it. The use of sea jargons really discouraged my read ( because I wanted to know everything)but overall the story was really good and even funny at certain times ( esp.Stubb)

General Outline( No Spoilers): The story is about a shepherd who really wants to venture and see more of the world. During this,he discovers about his Personal Legend and then the rest of the story unfolds. What I learnt: The book is a real classical take on how everyone should realize their importance in this world.The author goes to several lengths to show that each person has his own Personal Legend (A special role that The One has created only for you) and that most of them don't dare to venture out for fear of losing what they already have or fear of not having any more aim in their life. For these people,the ' dream' of reaching their goal becomes the reason for their sustenance, they fear that they really don't deserve it even if they achieve it.But time and time again, the author insists that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself, that all one should do is to follow one's heart to the very end of the journey.
