Such a lovely book that will make your heart warm and cause a light tide of tears in your eyes ;)
This book has earned a huge place in my heart. I loved the plot, the way the story was said from the perspectives of different characters, the ending! It taught me to be brave, to be kind, and to be unique.
The end really made me cry - "You really are a wonder Auggie. You are a wonder."
Also, a lot of critics dislike the book saying that Auggie shouldn't have gotten the Henry Beecher Award just because he is disabled. But what you do not understand is he got the award for his greatness, his bravery. How he pulled himself together and attended school every single day despite him being the only one with the syndrome and having to put up with the bullying at school. Geez, there's a whole speech delivered by Mr.Tushman on why he got the award, read it, 'kay?
