Such a lovely book that will make your heart warm and cause a light tide of tears in your eyes ;) This book has earned a huge place in my heart. I loved the plot, the way the story was said from the perspectives of different characters, the ending! It taught me to be brave, to be kind, and to be unique. The end really made me cry - "You really are a wonder Auggie. You are a wonder." Also, a lot of critics dislike the book saying that Auggie shouldn't have gotten the Henry Beecher Award just because he is disabled. But what you do not understand is he got the award for his greatness, his bravery. How he pulled himself together and attended school every single day despite him being the only one with the syndrome and having to put up with the bullying at school. Geez, there's a whole speech delivered by Mr.Tushman on why he got the award, read it, 'kay?

Loved this book! Such a heartwarming book on family, love, and friendship. The ending was very sweet and almost made me cry (excuse me, I'm a very sensitive person😂). Howard was such a sweet friend, Gus and Bertha were so kind and welcoming to Charlie. She started with wanting to get away from them and go back to her family but ended up wanting to stay there! Borrowed this from the library but I really wish I could keep it here with me forever! :)

A beautiful, heartwarming book! I saw this book at the library the other day and borrowed it. Gosh, I held back tears as I finished it. It shows just how much trauma and pain foster kids go through. And shows how recovery takes much time. Poor Julian and Flora went through so much after they got abandoned by their parents and put into foster care. This book is now in my top 10 list. Loved it.
