It was a great movie. The cast, the acting, the background music (pretty awesome and loved the old school feeling it gave), the story line all of it was just well paced, real, reflective and all of that produced a brilliant movie with beautiful black actors. I've been searching for more black movies like these that show a more realistic, less negative side of black people and I was not disappointed. I was also really relieved how it ended.

This movie is phenomenal. The actresses, the actors, the stories, the soundtrack, just everything. I absolutely loved the fact, to the point of adoration, that this was directed and executed by black women and by extension a black community filled with love, sisterhood, friendship, reality -both the good and bad sides, and overcoming. Life is always a battle, there's no one big fight, where you kill the boss and then that's it, no, more troubles will come, the troubles never stop coming but victory is also not a one time thing. This movie has all of that. I've been searching for some good movies with the black community and this is one of the best ones I've found. I loved it!
