Dream_ with_Bangtan

I enjoy this movie so much. Such an interesting topic telling a story about those who are ignored in society. They were Tae In (Yoo Ah In), Cho Hee (the kidnapped girl) and Moon Jo (Tae In's sister). First of all, Yoo Ah In's performance was impressive as usual. He becomes the village's fool who can't even speak while involving himself in dirty jobs following a mentor who has been taking care of him & his sister since young. I love his expressions throughout the movie even though he can't talk. What I love the most is how the characters try to live a righteous life despite their unlikely surrounding & jobs. -Chang Bok (the mentor) regularly giving advice to Tae In about life & somehow put importance on repentance. He even gave Tae In a tape containing a religious speech & made him hear it every night after they're done with their jobs. -Tae In always seen to try to not doing his dirty jobs in front of Cho Hee even though she is there & understands everything anyway. He somehow wanted to protect the kids' innocence. -Cho Hee has seen all & even understands the process of burying the dead. I thought she developed Stockholm syndrome since she was so calm & nice to the abductors but it's not the case. She still told her teacher about Tae In (as her abductor) after she was sent to her school. Towards the ending, the director didn't even bother to explain what exactly happened to Chang Bok & Tae In afterwards but I still feel satisfied.

This is a dark and mystery drama that not extremely nasty or cruel. It discusses human nature & what makes them feel alive. The casts manifest their characters really well. Kudos to them especially Seo In Guk! I see him as a strange guy in the neighborhood throughout the drama even after he falls in love. He never got out of his character in every situation. For me, he is so charming with words & reactions but somehow I could sense that he is so manipulative & I need to be careful around him. But still, if Moo Young ever interested to play with me, I could not guarantee that I would not fall in love with him just like other women he met throughout the drama. One quote I remember until now, "Do you think she will be able to stop even if you're against it? She won't be able to end it. Not until Moo Young ends it" However, the plot seems to stray here & there. I feel like Moo Young unique ability introduced in an earlier episode of the drama (which increases his mystery nature) do not well elaborated. His ability seems forgotten as the plot thickens with other mystery about the three lead characters' pasts and connections. Overall, I still satisfied with this drama. The cinematography was pleasant too. I glad I found this drama.
