I used to be indecisive whether or not Scott Peterson was wrongly accused/convicted. Heck, I would talk like his attorney, Geragos, just because the man was a lying cheater, it doesn't automatically mean that he'll commit murder. Watching this documentary actually convinced me that Scott Peterson was likely the double murderer of his wife and son. When the show showed the audio surveillance of Scott being relieved (that audible 'whewww!') that they didn't find Laci and Conner at the bay was one of the main reasons I thought to myself: This guy was the killer. His reaction showed that of relief instead of disappointment that they didn't find Laci with the sonar at the bay. And then, his trips to the bay 5 times (the bay which is located 90 miles from his house) while they were searching for Laci (and Conner), only stopped by a few minutes to watch them from afar. If he really wanted to get involved in looking/searching, he could've just gone and spent more time, talking to searchers, etc but nope. He went there 5 times only spent a few minutes, staring at searchers. Then, his treatment to his wife's items after she went missing, their nursery as well. Very cold. I definitely saw why they thought he did it. I think they got the right person in jail after watching this show...

I know this movie is marked as a 'comedy,' but I'm going to be honest here, the jokes feel...rather 'inside jokes' FOR ME. (So it may still be very funny for others). There are moments of laughter, but not very much for me. But one thing for sure, I love that they continue with the 3rd movie. At this point, the Portokalos is like "OUR Greek family" (non Greek here but I love them). The movie is more heartwarming for me, it's a story of acceptance, a journey of remembrance, celebration, so overall, it's just a good ol' great family movie. I'm enjoying seeing Toula, Ian, Nick, Aunt Voula, Paris, and the whole gang (except for Gus who's there in spirit). It still hits the spot and gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling watching it. Thank you for the people behind the scene who made this movie happen. It's likely the last movie of the 'franchise,' but what a good note to end it with.

This is so conflicting. I would like to give it 0 star, honestly. I mean, I love some of the actors in their previous works (plus they're all good looking people, I guess that's worth the 1 star)...but they have zero chemistry. I don't even care about what's going to happen to them all. I mean, when I actually cared more about that DAIRY-FREE grilled cheese sandwich on the stove on one of the first romantic scenes...So are they just going to chuck that poor sandwich? Why? Don't you know those types of cheese ain't cheap? I also get confused with a scene where the older sister appears to be smiling (happily, not sadly) when she's supposed to console her little sister. And the whole teacher telling the students about his life story, what an awkward thing. The actor doesn't seem to have the charisma to pull off a believable teacher, by the way.... And the editing made it worse. The flashbacks are just weirdly placed. It sucks because the movie has such promising premise. Unfortunately this movie is not for me (although I was so excited to be watching it).

This show is a hidden gem. Such a surprisingly funny, endearing detective show. I was just happy that I tried watching it despite not knowing any of the actors and the background of the story. Two detectives of supremely different personalities clashed and forced to work together to solve serial killing in a small town filled with 'Lez' during a 'Feastival.' The supporting cast are marvelous. I was laughing so much despite this being a mystery-detective story. The background story and scenery are just beautiful and haunting. Sure, the Darwin detective was kind of hard to swallow at first, but you do warm up to her as her layers started to unfold (she's horrifyingly hilarious though). I also adored the main character and her partner. They're great, almost seem like mismatched coupling but you kind of 'get' it later on their chemistry. I prided myself on being able to guess 4 out of 5, who the murderer, and I guess this was my 1. As in, in the reveal the murdered was no.2 in my list of suspects :)

This movie....... yeah..just no. I loved Mena Suvari, she's a good actor generally. I'm just sad that she gets this type of movies. She's better than this.

I actually enjoy this show tremendously. I haven't watched any detective drama on TV for the longest time despite mystery being my favorite genre. This show features a unique main character, and his 'team' per se. The stories can be pretty dark, but there is quite a bit of light tongue-in-cheek moments between characters that make things bearable to watch, even enjoyable. The acting is great, and the chemistry between actors is obvious. Despite this not being the 'perfect' detective show, I will say, a very enjoyable one and definitely a not-miss. It's nice to get excited to watching TV again after awhile :)

This series is very addictive to watch. A little slow burn in the beginning, but then, it gets better and better. There are scenes (violence/bullying) that are very hard to watch (that's for me, partly perhaps it's because it's triggering). You can't help but root for Dong Eun (protagonist) to get what she wants.

This is one of those times, when you do modern adaptation of a classic...JUST RIGHT. I had a really good time watching this and actually enjoying it. I love it. Sure, I had to suspend my disbelief that Bowen Yang can emulate Jane Bennett (because all I'm familiar with is his skits on SNL and Jane Bennett was this sweet, loving, quiet individual) and to my joy, he did wonderfully. Also: Joel Kim Booster, one of my favorite standup comedians, performed SUPERBLY as Noah (Lizzy). I didn't realize, he CAN ACT. The man can act. Give him MORE MOVIE ROLES. 5/5.

Comparing this to the 2022 Persuasion, this adaptation still RULES supreme.

I tried very hard to divorce it from the book... I mean, I enjoyed 'Clueless' (modern adaptation of 'Emma') and even the new Emma, it's funny, cheeky and it worked. But I can't stop cringing throughout. Well, I had to stop it at one point and I'm just not in the mood to keep watching. It feels that the essence of the novel, the hearts of the characters were missing from the movie. Anne Elliott is a quiet, introspective, introverted, reserved person. But they just had to 'girl bossify' Anne and the chemistry between Anne and Frederick was just so lackluster. I can go on and on, the jarring use of the modern language, the 4th wall breaking, etc etc. I waited a few years since they announced that they were making an adaptation of 'Persuasion' only to be very disappointed. The only silver lining is I suppose Jane Austen's work, 'Persuasion' (one of my most fave novels) is getting the recognition to new audience...
