If you believe anything above 3 stars your IQ is less than the people who gave those scores. I don’t know how some directors approve of final edits and actually give consent for certain movies to be released. This is entertaining if you can no longer see straight and need something to play in the background. It’s BAD. I will say I watched the whole thing because it was precisely the type of b rated spy action movie I needed. Zero effort and I got to see my Kate. And I’m dumber for watching it. Poor Kate. As always, she’s awesome. Too bad the script, delivery, acting apart from Kate and directing is just toilet bowl crap. It’s so dumb. The actors and acting are so so dumb. I wouldn’t watch a movie by this guy again if I were paid. Unless Kate’s in it. Dude.

Meh. I thought it had great potential and very good acting with the beginning but by the end I was really sick of watching Jessie act tormented and suspicious for literally zero reason. No spoilers… but I actually fast forwarded through a couple scenes. The rabbit and the dirt grave scene's were over the top and uncomfortable to watch in the wrong ways. This character tried way too hard. I feel like it’s not that surprising of an ending and riddled with overly drama acting in general. The boyfriend gets a bad rap and is really the best character in the film. He deserved a better ending. It’s an in-cohesive delivery of a beautiful and interesting love story and then takes a weird turn of a psychotic nature with the same people. Mental illness isn’t two things at the same time… it’s not stability and then instability in the same place… the cracks are obvious fairly immediately and this film doesn’t portray a situation like that believably. It doesn’t gel. Sorry everyone. It was meh for me.

Okay this is my favorite movie and story of all time and it’s excellent. It’s everything that you need. Val Kilmer is Doc Holiday in my eyes like the actual Doc. Every character is perfect except for one. 20 years later, after this came out in theaters, I’m STILL wondering who cast Josephine. She is the least interesting actress I have ever had the displeasure of watching and she’s not a 20 year old beauty like she was in real life. This actress had to have been in bed or related to someone important. It’s always been a real head scratcher.

Underrated! How this only got 16% on rotten tomatoes and other movies rate high has me totally lost and in doubt. It’s NOT bad. It’s not great. But I enjoyed it… only 3 stars because I had to watch the hard parts on mute. No way I’m putting that sound on in my house for a mediocre thriller. If it weren’t for the really bad parts (exactly 3 of them) being way too disturbing for a run of the mill thriller, I’d have given it 4 stars. Diane Lane is as usual, amazing enough to make it suspense filled and entertaining. Hanks plays an endearing character well and Billy Burke is definitely crush worthy and a strong partner for Lane. Also props to the kid who played Lanes daughter. This movie is very watchable over many awful thrillers. I repeat, how this got only 16% on rotten tomatoes just lost me as a subscriber to whether or not their ratings mean squash. Literally.

No spoilers so read away. I’m on the end of ep 3 and I am bored. This blonde douche has way too big of a role. He’s incredibly too boring to be THE guy. So far only a few interesting people appear - B rated. There’s really 2 things happening… the future queen is unhappy and the brother hates his brother the king. It’s taking way too long to get somewhere. Hopefully it gets somewhere. UPDATE: We love the blonde douche, it gets really good twisty/turny and I’m mad I have to wait until summer 2024. Episodes pick up after ep 3 and in true GOT fashion it is slow/fast/slow/fast from there. Unlike true GOT fashion it’s much tamer as far as violence and pure bloodshed is concerned. The enduring love is kind of refreshing actually. Thankfully by ep 6 you’re tuned in and curious as heck. However have yet to pick a side... Not so by ep 8-10. By ep 10 you’re fielding not only loyalty but ready for the actual bloodshed and violence to begin and waiting angrily for dark revenge to come.

Im giving one star out of respect. I can’t give it any more than that. Boooooooring and VERY CREEPY DOLL STUFF was there for why? Why not just get this story over in 10 minutes or give psychiatric insight on this failure of a system. Spoiler below: They have a really desperate bond. It was catered to at WAY too young of an age and became desperately sick. They weren’t 1 person. Yet they were allowed to go on as 1. One of them tragically dies at 30 after an 11 year disgraceful stint in a psych ward and the other one has to find her way along in the world without her beautiful twin. Side note: I think this short review is more interesting than the two hour movie. One of them absolutely did not need to die for the other to have a life. They needed to have their butts spanked when this game started out as little girls. Kids do not run the show, or they end up really messed up. The end.
