These guys are what Detroit needs. My community association in NW Detroit is developing a master housing plan for our neighborhood of 1940's homes just like those on "Bargain Block."
For decades Detroit single-family home owners have not been able to get mortgages or renovation funds. 150,000 of these homes have been abandoned or demolished. Not great for those of us who stayed.
Every effort to improve housing in Detroit is welcome, especially one like Evan and Keith's which LEAPS to the next level. HGTV, please keep this show!
