For die-hard fans of the Resident Evil games, 'Welcome to Raccoon City' is a must-see. It is by far the best movie adaptation, and it stays true to the source material despite some noticeable differences from the games. Still, the movie is far better than any other Resident Evil film to date. Despite the film getting a bit rushed towards the end, I enjoyed how it focused less on killing zombies and more on the relationships between the characters and their efforts to uncover Umbrella's involvement in Raccoon City. A highlight of the movie was how incredibly detailed the Spencer Mansion and RPD were. I got goosebumps seeing it.. Those who are fans of the games will also find plenty of easter eggs along the way. Let's hope there are more sequels!
