As a long time fan of Mortal Kombat I'm disappointed. No Character has a back story (other than Cole) A lot of characters die - who in my opinion didnt need to. Seems they killed them off just for the sake of a fatality. Which I'm sure Simon McQuaid said he wasn't going to do. You see literally nothing of Outworld. Whole film is basically set in a Temple/Coles neighbourhood. Scorpion has a total screen time of 15 minutes and tbh to me when he does turn up it doesn't make sense. Kano kept me going got most of the film with his humour. Cast were good, fatalities were great, few Easter eggs from the games. But lacks Story and Direction. AHH well back to Annihilation it is.
