Okay, I'll give this movie an 80%, since I have SOO many mixed feelings about the movie. It was really over hyped mainly because it was another Jordan Peele movie and the audience figured it would be another work of art like "Get Out" was. The premise of the movie was GREAT and so was the acting, and what I really liked about it was that it made the audience think, instead of just jump scares. The idea of this movie is terrifying.
But when I saw "Get Out" for the first time, it seemed like everyone was enticed the ENTIRE movie and this movie seemed more predictable and had a lot of plot holes. It could have been SO good but I feel like Peele rushed to make another movie to make everyone talk again. I was just disappointed by how predictable the movie was and how nothing really popped out as being a surprise or "came together" like in "Get Out". I hate to compare this so much to "Get Out", but I feel like everyone that is making a criticism had an idea of what this movie was going to be like and that it wasn't fulfilled.
Despite this criticism, I can't wait until Jordan Peele comes out with more masterpieces!
