IT IS NOT a cliched, pretentious, faux-artsy film that it seems during the first hour or so. FOR THE LOVE OF DOG, FINISH THE DOGGONE MOVIE BEFORE WRITING A REVIEW!!! I’m furious beyond words at all these commenters who have the audacity to come here and write that it’s a bad film when they DID NOT FINISH IT. THE ENDING MAKES EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE. It’s one of the best films I’ve seen in a while, and to think I almost gave up half way through because of how slow paced and seemingly predictable it was pains me. Campion did it again. An absolute must-see. My jaw was on the floor.
