I declare Backstreet Rookie my most favourite Kdrama... Bro Ji Chang Wook is a Master of Versatility, such challenging roles among my favs in Healer, The K2 & Fabricated City. Miss Kim Yoo-Jung was actually the reason I became a Kdramas fan when I chance upon Love In The Moonlight few months back. Korea & us here in Singapore are so much alike, we are a well mannered peeps & will help those in need, even strangers with no second thoughts, such gracious society most Singaporeans are, taught by elders since rural Kampung times.. In Backstreet Rookie, I'll admit I did shed tears a few times, cos I've been through some challenging & difficult pasts... And it reflects the harsh reality in our daily lives. And not suprisingly, Mdm Kim Sun-young is simply talented & marvellous, loving her characters in Crash Landing On You & When The Camellia Blooms. I hope she'll win the Best Supporting Actress again for next Baeksang Arts Award. My choice is Backstreet Rookie to win Best Kdrama for the perfect potrayal of moral values, especially those scenes which our yonger generations can learn how to respect others, treasuring our beloved peeps & understand what loyalty means. And I truly hope that both the Best Main Actor & Main Actresses awards goes to Mr Choi Dae_hyun & Ms Jung Saet-byul. Ms Kim Yoo-Joon is one of Korea's finest beauties & the reason I'm learning & also in love with the Korean language. PS. I'm planning to travel to & migrate there one fine day...
