This is basically the review of Season 1 and there are total of two seasons. A story seems simple when the curtains are open a guy who falls in love with a girl who starts stalking her to get to know her better. Things takes a turn when he decides to chop off people or incidence out of her life which he thinks is pulling her down. The character of male lead, Penn Badgely grows on you slowly and though he has negative taint to his character you start rooting for his character. It is the brilliance of screenplay which makes you feel so. He is a man you can hate him or love him but you can't ignore him. 'You' as series is an adaptation of a book and I haven't read the book but I believe book must be even more intriguing and thrilling. The character of female lead played by Elizabeth Lail sinks into her character to the T. Also, all the other actors are cast perfectly. The eerie feeling and thrill is maintained throughout the season without giving you a clue where it is going and finally when you think you figured out, they give you another shock. Yes, the voice of narrator at the beginning is quite jarring and you won't like it as this voice tells us what the character is thinking but try watching without it, you would feel the eeriness and very disturbing so would suggest you to watch it with that voice which as time passes by you will get used to. This romantic thriller which is twisted in nature is recommended to all. It shouldn't be missed for sure and by the time you are done with season 1 you would be looking for next season
