It's a bit Chinese action movie, but with all the Disney magic... which a lot of people used to either side won't get. No it's not like the original but they're both amazing in their own way. This one even pushes its own messages about truth and family. The magic's there if you just accept it rather than focus on the politics and original Disney film. My only gripe is that some of the lines felt a bit forced, but that might just be because of the varied accents/levels of English among the actors. Might even have been better if they all spoke Chinese with subtitles, but who knows?
