I have always been a huge fan of the books, ever since the first time I read them. Along with their sequels and pre-sequel. I even enjoyed the movie that had come out. Far more than I like the show. Don’t get me wrong, the show is ok, but there is sooooooooo much information off from the very second it starts that I almost can’t help but hate it. “The Mortal Instruments” is my favorite book series ever, and this show just kind of trashed it. Characters are VERY different and I really only think two of the characters were semi-decent to their book counterparts: Alec and somewhat Izzy. I like this Izzy much more than the one in the movie, but Kevin Zeggers did a great job playing Alec. Truthfully, they both did. I don’t like the show, since the whole point in making the show was so they could give more information from the books instead of shoving the first three into the movie that had come out. They completely failed in their goals..
