While the first half of the show seems to be building towards something interesting the second half falls apart into loose string as the writers or directors just threw plot points at the audience hoping it felt like a satisfying conclusion. Ridley Scott doesn't provide any real answers to any of the interesting parts of the world that was built and maybe just wanted an excuse to do the fog and snow effects from the first scene of Gladiator but for the entire length of a show.
