This is a classic, not only of Bangladesh but all of Bengal. A timeless film. The soundtrack of this film enriched it just like what the soundtrack of Titanic, like the soundtrack of 8 Mile. This film didn't win the oscar over and over because it's far away from America, and I don't think it was even submitted. The Prime Minister of the country herself handed the award to the center-character. The film tells the story of an orphan lad and his unfair life. "Monpura" is up there with the great films of Bengal. Undoubtedly among the top 5 or 10.

*I'm a Bangladeshi.* This is the best SRK movie I've ever seen! At least it's in my top 3 of SRK. And hands down in my 'best Bollywood action-thrillers'. There probably won't be any sequel to this but it would be a dream come true. I rewatched this movie after almost 10 years and it only felt better. It's great, let me tell you I'm overwhelmed Oh did I say that it's also one of the best Bollywood movies I've ever watched in my life? Ugh I'm lost for words...
