Fahrenheit 451 is an interesting concept, but it doesn’t go quite as far as it possibly could. The writing and flow of the words on the page are expertly crafted by Ray Bradbury, and the first two parts are deep and complex, making you really think about all the things that are going on. Unfortunately, the book suffers from what makes the last entry in so many book series the worst (Mockingjay in The Hunger Games, The Death Cure in The Maze Runner): the ending goes off the rails crazy, and with a typical outside-the-Action peaceful society trope at the end of the story, it ultimately doesn’t live up to the classic work of literature it’s hyped up to be.
