One of the worst movies I have ever seen... I really enjoyed get out and was looking forward to this movie, expecting similar feelings afterwards. There were countless holes in the plot, so many unaddressed questions, and scenes that made you question if you were actually in the right movie. After the movie ended, I didn’t hear a single person say anything positive about their viewing experience. Most of the comments made were somewhere along the lines of “what did we just watch?” Or “that movie makes 0 sense”. Because they put so much effort into being unique, it seemed as if they ignored or put minimal effort into creating an overall good story. Needless to say I was very disappointed and felt as if “Us” was more of a straight to DVD type of movie. Again I enjoyed “Get Out” and I know that Jordan Peele has the ability to create masterpieces, but this was the furthest thing from the level of work he’s put out in the past.
