First, to RK, please try to lighten up. For heaven’s sake, you truly ripped this movie apart, and in my opinion undeservedly so. It’s a movie….it’s pretend, make-believe. Have you ever heard of “suspension of disbelief”? Well, it applies when watching a fictional movie or reading a fictional book. This movie is fiction, in which people, places and things are to be taken with a grain of salt. I don’t know where you came up with finding racism in the movie? I believe you were talking about prejudice against specific countries, which is not racism. Racism is discrimination according to race, not nationality. When one is biased, intolerant or prejudiced against people from a specific country, it is NOT racism. A better term might be bigoted or xenophobic, but even if the correct term were used, I don’t think it applies to this movie. I saw no such discrimination. It appears to me somebody “pissed in your Wheaties” the day you wrote your review.
I thought this was a great movie, fast-paced action and very well-acted. It was great to see a movie centered around female leads. All 4 main characters were wonderful in their individual roles. I found the concept fairly original and written quite well. I would like to see more movies carried by female protagonists such as in this one.
