Despite reservations on literally anyone covering Freddie Mercury, Malec gave a spot on performance. As Freedie grew into his regal persona as Queen so did I come to realize that I WAS watching Freddie, yes Malec bore the crown that well.
The music along with Malec's performance carried the story which other wise would have been a hurried, glossed over biopic. Worth the watch.
