It was enjoyable. But like not anything mindblowing. The plot and characters were kinda flat and there could have been more world building. As someone who's a fan of the games it was pleasant enough to watch. It had a good few game references which was cool. Honestly I could have watched a whole 25 episode anime series of it. I feel like the world and characters would have been able to develop more than in a 2 hour film and that would've been nice to see. Something that I actually really loved about it was Joe Hisaishi's bomb soundtrack. It used pretty much the same soundtrack as the game and I love it so much. I also just like the overall aesthetic of the art style and setting. Anyway, overall the movie was just kinda ok. It looks pretty, and sounds pretty. Worth one watch.
